Biography I just want to help somebody is not the line from a popular song but the mantra carried by Randy Nichols. At 39, Randy is an accomplished musician, singer, songwriter and composer. Who also owns and operates Heavenly Gate Studio where he spends his time praying, writing and recording for Jesus. An amazing man serving an amazing God.
Believe it or not as a child and even as a teenager this outgoing man was shy and timid. When God has a plan though, mountains move and new characteristics are born. Hence, from this shy teenager came forth a bold and uncompromising man. All knowledge, all skill, all praise comes from the Father himself. Randy has not been to bible college. He never took guitar, piano or voice lessons. He is a man formed and fashioned by God's own hands. A willing instrument who knows the feeling of being played and tuned by loving fingers. At the age of 15 Randy became fascinated with the guitar and told his dad he wanted to play. Armed only with his determination he bought his first guitar and amp. Tommy, his second cousin, showed him the basic chords and Randy found a whole new means of expressing himself to the world. Of course in the process he drove his family crazy until God used all of them in a unique way. The better Randy became the more the family enjoyed not only listening but singing too. They began to find harmonies and God turned a joyful noise into joyful praise to be shared. The End Time Gospel Singers were born and as a family they were able to share their faith and their love of God. They traveled throughout the southeast and bible belt areas performing in churches and outdoor events. Eventually Randy began to write and compose his own music. He has since performed in different mediums around the country including Outdoor events ,radio, recording studios, revivals, churches, homeless shelters and Nursing Homes. Anywhere God opens a door Randy slides his foot in. Every word penned is God breathed and inspired. You will never hear Randy take credit for the words or the music, he will simply direct your attention back to the Father. God did not stop his blessings here though. When he is done singing, sit back and be prepared to hear from God. There are no punches pulled. If you want to know what God says, listen. If you want to know something, ask. 1 Peter 3:15 says, be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. If you ask a question, you have questioned where his hope comes from and he will give an answer, a direct sincere answer with no frills or fluff. Yet it will come gently like the southern breeze, which lifts the hair from your face and allows you to see whats in front of you. Like his grandfather before him God has anointed Randy in the areas of prophecy and healing. Randy has seen God open the eyes of the blind and make the lame to walk. He watched as God healed his infant son born with out hip sockets, whose intestines were twisted and his kidneys declined to function. He continued to watch as reports and x-rays came back confounding doctors but proclaiming the healing power of Jesus Christ. Today, Steven is a healthy 17 year old boy. Randy has not forgotten the miracles of that time and continues to serve God and his people. In this powerful man of God lies the tender heart of a child. A child loves you just the way you are, they look past the outer shell, past the coverings to see the person contained within. As Randy will tell you, All things work together for good to them that love God to them who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 While waiting for God's next move Randy has just completed his 4th cd, Long Road Home. His other cd's include Natural High, Beyond the Sunset and I'm A Winner. Randy is available to sing and or preach at your next event or service. I encourage you to seek the door God would have you open for him. Take advantage now while he is still fairly, easy to obtain. Once the Christian community realizes what and whom God has hidden in Port Charlotte his calendar will fill up quickly. The world continues to be scavenged! People are hungry and thirsty they want to see the true hand of God. They want to see what it looks like when he really moves and heals.
